Putnam Paws began its journey about a year ago. We are developing a web site to keep all updated on events, activities and goals.

An early rescue living her best life with a wonderful person in Gainesville, Florida
The overall goal of Putnam Paws is to build a regional affordable well care center where education and affordable basic wellness services shall be available for all animals in our community; rabies, distemper vaccines, heartworm and fecal tests and flea, tick and heartworm medications. The goal is to have rescue capabilities for the domestic pets frequently found lost or abandoned, which animal lovers everywhere struggle to provide for one way or another.
As with all things American, “it’s all about the money”. We in the U.S. are at a stage of our development where collectively, many folks are becoming increasingly aware of the differences inherent often between the price of something and the value of something. Many Americans today are rethinking life values and reallocating spending streams, paying higher prices for healthier food, higher prices for longer lasting clothing made with natural materials, spending more on developing and living in environmentally friendly, more self sustaining properties, spending more on the overall care and welfare of domestic pets.

One significant cause of the high cost of basic veterinary care is the high cost of vaccines and medication. If Putnam Paws is to provide more affordable care, it is important to find a reliable source of basic medications at more affordable basic prices. If anyone or anyone you know has any comments or ideas as to where and how exactly more affordable medicines may be sourced, please email your input to HelpPutnamPaws@gmail.com
Overall, what is needed, is:
1) Land. Anyone owning land who does not have a suitable heir to whom to leave it, or does not need the land, please donate it to Putnam Paws.
2) Funds are needed to be invested in perpetuity to maintain the rescue program, and the facility.
3) Funds are needed to build an appropriate facility. It may be possible successfully to requisition some grant monies towards this.
Additional needs are:
- People experienced with Word Press willing to donate hours to further the development and improvement of our PutnamPaws.org website.
- People with marketing training willing to donate hours to further a marketing program.
- People ,preferably with a banking or accounting background willing to donate hours to work on the bank account for Putnam Paws. Clumbering on with love. We look forward to hearing from each and every one
